Iraq and Kuwait discuss the construction of new schools of various specifications

The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, discussed with the Kuwaiti Ambassador, Tariq Abdullah Al-Faraj, the launch of the second phase of building schools within the financing of the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Development.

According to a statement by the Ministry, “The Minister of Education discussed during the meeting a plan to construct (22) new schools with urban specifications designed according to international modernity that provides a suitable environment for students, which will be distributed to the governorates of Iraq after the first completion stages reached advanced levels of implementation in (12) school buildings, that are hoped to be occupied in the next academic year.

For his part, the Kuwaiti Ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to open horizons for joint cooperation and expand the circle of exchanging experiences and knowledge in various educational fields.
