The Secretary-General of the Italian Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ambassador Ettore Sicoi, praised the excellent level of Italian-Kuwaiti relations and cultural cooperation that his country aspires to develop, appreciating Italy’s hosting of the Kuwaiti Book Fair.

His remarks was made in meeting with the new Ambassador of Kuwait in Rome, Naser Al-Qahtani, at the ministry’s headquarters.

It added that during the meeting he expressed his special appreciation for cooperating in the cultural field, as it is also a sector capable of expansion in light of Italy’s participation in the book fair that will be held in Kuwait between November 16 and 26.

It indicated that both ambassadors also discussed the possibilities of economic cooperation and exploiting opportunities of “Kuwait 2035” strategy, with special reference to sustainable development
