Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani said, Monday, his country intends to provide rapid financing to help Tunisia face the financial crisis.

This came during a press conference held by the Foreign Minister on the sidelines of a ministerial conference on the Western Balkans.

He went on to announce that Italy would provide Tunisia with 100 million euros (USD 109 million), of which 50 million euros (USD 54.5 million) would go to Tunisian medium and small companies.
