Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital announced on Sunday the success of the first digestive system endoscopy using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in an outstanding accuracy.
Director of the Surgical Department at Jaber Hospital Dr. Sulaiman Al-Mazeedi said in a statement that this innovative technology shows how fast technology is developing.
Dr. Al-Mazeedi noted that this technology is used to identify polyps in the stomach and colon with high accuracy.
On his part, Director of the Colon and Rectal Surgery Unit Dr. Ahmad Al-Khamis said that he was able to discover a polyp during a colonoscopy and was removed immediately using this device.
