Kamco Invest reports net profit of KD 10.3 mln in ’21

– Kamco Investment Company declared on Sunday that its net profits in 2021 reached KD 10.3 million (USD 33 million) compared to KD 2.6 million (USD 8.3 million), increasing by 483.9 percent, in the same period in 2016.

Earnings per share amounted to 30.14 fils against 7.8 fils, increasing by 483.9 percent.

In a disclosure published on the website of the Kuwait Stock Exchange, Kamco Investment said that the increase in profits was attributed to an increase in fee income, net profit from financial assets listed at fair value and the share of profits generated from associate companies.

The Board of Directors recommended distributing cash dividends of 10 percent of the nominal value of the share at the rate of 10 fils for each share, the release added.

The company was established in 1998 and listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange in 2003 with an authorized capital of KD 34.2 million (USD 110 million dollars). It is active in asset management, banking investments and financial intermediation.
