KNPC: Fire outbreak in sulfur removal unit, no casualties

A fire out broke in the sulfur removal unit of Mina Al-Ahmadi oil refinery and firefighters are dealing with it currently with no casualties so far, said Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).

When the fire broke, the unit and all lines leading to it were isolated immediately, while firefighters are still working to extinguish the fire, revealed KNPC.

The fire did not affect the refinery, export, and the marketing operations, revealed KNPC, adding supplies to the Ministry of Electricity and Water were also unharmed.
