A sudden electricity blackout took place Friday at Mina Abdullah Refinery without causing any impact on either output or export operations, the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) said.
Some production units at the refinery sustained an abrupt power cutoff that led to a temporary suspension, the company added in a news statement. It indicated that the output continued as planned, and work is underway to re-operate the units after re-providing electricity to them.
