KRCS aids families in need

Kuwait Red Crescent Society declared on Monday that it distributed 4,500 food parcels to families in need.

The society secretary general Maha al-Barjas affirmed in a statement to KUNA keenness on aiding low-income families, particularly during the fasting month Ramadan.

Each parcel, containing rice, sugar, dates, cooking oil, chicken and cannon food, is sufficent for a family for a month.

The socieit has also dispatched aid to the poor in Yemen, the Comoros, Syrian refugees, Bosnia, Pakistan, Malawi, Senegal and Palestine.
