KSrelief Dispatches 21 Aid Trucks Following Flashfloods in Sudan


The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) today dispatched in Sudan 21 relief trucks carrying 23,000 food baskets and 3,464 shelter kits to meet the urgent humanitarian needs of the people affected by the recent flashfloods in the Nile River and Northern states, which have caused severe losses in lives and property.

The launching ceremony at Suakin port in Red Sea State was attended by the Saudi ambassador to Sudan, representatives of relief organizations, and national partners.

The aid comes within the framework of the Saudi relief air bridge, operated by KSrelief, to assist the brotherly Sudanese people. The relief is sent in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as an embodiment of the noble humanitarian role played by the Kingdom towards brotherly and friendly countries.
