KSrelief’s Masam Project Clears 383 Mines in Yemen During April’s First Week


Aden, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief’s) Masam Project, which focuses on clearing Yemeni lands of mines and munitions, successfully dismantled 383 mines from various areas during the first week of April 2024.

These included one anti-personnel mine, 75 anti-tank mines, 300 unexploded ordnance, and 7 explosive devices.

The number of mines cleared since the beginning of the Masam Project has risen to 436,759 mines, which had been randomly planted across various Yemeni lands, posing a threat to innocent victims, including children, women, and the elderly.
