Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) concluded on Saturday its awareness campaign against narcotics themed “drugs kill you” launched on December 11.

KUNA Director General Dr. Fatma Al-Salem said in a statement that the news agency has undertaken the responsibility of solidifying the society against the scourge by enhancing awareness of its dangers particularly among the youth. She also noted that KUNA’s campaign was carried out simultaneously with “a vicious war waged” against the menace by relevant public and private institutions and authorities.

Dr. Al-Salem lauded the personnel who had been involved in the campaign, noting that KUNA had broadcast diverse interviews, reports and news features about the subject.

KUNA is keen on backing up all efforts at diverse levels against drugs that are destructive to the society and shedding light on the state efforts in combating the harmful and illegal materials and substances.

The news agency had broadcast diverse items, pictures and sketches about the combat against drugs warning the public of their detrimental impact.
