The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Kurdistan Regional Government condemned the burning of the Qur’an book in Sweden.
“We strongly condemn the burning and abuse of the Holy Qur’an by a citizen in Sweden,” the Ministry said in a statement.
It added: “This behavior is far from human values and against the principles of democracy, coexistence and religiosity.”
