Ambassador of Kuwait to Romania Talal Al-Hajri discussed on Thursday means of cooperation with Romanian National Press Agency (AGERPRES) Director General Claudia Nicolae at the agency’s headquarters in Bucharest.

Al-Hajri said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that during the meeting, both sides tackled issues of common interest between KUNA and AGERPRES, including exchange of expertise, media mutual visits and news exchange, along with a cooperation agreement between both agencies.

AGERPRES is keen on boosting media cooperation with KUNA due to its great role in promoting bilateral relations and enhancing people-to-people communication, he added.

The Romanian agency addressed KUNA Director General Dr. Fatema Al-Salem an official invitation to visit Romania and get familiar with the mechanism of AGERPRES’ departments.

AGERPRES was founded back in 1889 and has many correspondents in European capitals.
