Kuwait Ambassador offers credentials to Kazakh President

Ambassador Omar Al-Kanderi presented Friday his credentials to President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as Kuwait’s envoy to the country.

In a statement to KUNA, Kuwait Embassy to Kazakhstan said offering credentials came in a special ceremony held at the presidential palace in the capital, Nur-Sultan.

Al-Kanderi conveyed greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to President Tokayev.

He stressed Kuwait’s keenness on developing relations with Kazakhstan in all fields in a way that achieves interest of the two countries, according to the statement.

Meanwhile, Tokayev said his country adopts a peaceful and open foreign policy, aiming to upgrade friendly and useful ties with all countries, mainly Kuwait, it added.

He wished that relations with those countries would culminate in carrying out more projects in all fields.
