His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to President Alberto Fernandez, of friendly Argentina whose national team won the World Cup 2022 trophy in sisterly Qatar on Sunday evening.
His Highness the Amir applauded the sober performance of the Argentine team throughout the championship, which entitled them to the deserved victory, commending the fair play and sportsmanship displayed by both competing teams in the final. He also praised the great efforts made by the State of Qatar, the host country, to set the stage for, and ensure the success of, the championship.
His Highness the Amir expressed his best wishes for President Fernandez and the friendly people of Argentina
