His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a congratulatory cable to Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of ascending the throne on Sunday.
His Highness hailed the prominent achievements and development the country had seen during the era of Queen Elizabeth, also underlining the over-century-old strong Kuwaiti-British relations. His Highness Sheikh Nawaf wished the Queen a long healthy life, adding that he looks forward to boost bilateral ties on all levels with the UK.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah also sent similar cables to Queen Elizabeth.
