His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah expressed his condolences on Tuesday over the victims of widespread flash floods in the Philippines, which resulted in human casualties and left homes inundated.

In a cable he sent to Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte, His Highness the Amir hoped the Southeast Asian archipelago would overcome this natural disaster, wishing a speedy recovery for those wounded amid the heavy downpour.
