— Kuwait’s Civil Service Commission announced Sunday that January 1st (Sunday) would be an official holidary at all ministries and government bodies on the occasion of the new year 2023.

The commission clarified in a statement that work will resume on Monday (January 2nd), adding that government bodies with special working circumstances are to arrange their own holiday scheme.
