— Kuwait Foreign Ministry on Monday condemned the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Jewish extremists under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces yesterday.
The attacks on worshipers, the restrictions on their entry and arresting dozens of them constitute a blatant violation of the UN resolutions, the Geneva Conventions and human rights covenants, the ministry said in a press release.
It warned of the consequences of this serious escalation, which transcends the sanctity of holy sites.
The ministry called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to take immediate action to put an end to the Israeli violations and provide the necessary protection for holy sites
