UN’s permanent representative, Ambassador Nasser Al-Hein assured Monday that Kuwait remains cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

This came in a statement by Ambassador Al-Hein after a meeting with ICRS president, Mirjana Spoljaric Egger.

However, Kuwait is enhancing the cooperation with ICRC especially after the mutual long-history while following up the prisoners and missing citizens after the liberation of Iraqi invasion of Kuwait 1991.

From her side, ICRS president praised the humanitarian role of Kuwait in assisting several-affected countries.

Al-Hein also stressed on the importance of all international organizations and their noble role in helping victims worldwide.
