Price of the Kuwaiti crude oil dropped by USD 2.49 to USD 83.51 per barrel Thursday against USD 86 pb Wednesday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said in a statement on Friday.
In international markets, data have shown unexpected rise of US crude reserves for the second consecutive week, deepening jitters that demand for the crude might drop.
Meanwhile, future contracts of the Brent crude edged down by 73 cents to settle at USD 84.25 pb. Likewise, those of the American Intermediate crude, edging down by 86 cents and settling at USD 78.62 pb
