Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Majdi Al-Dhafiri met on Tuesday James Cleverly, the Minister for Middle East and North Africa at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), currently on a visit to the country along with an accompanying delegation.

The Deputy Foreign Minister and the British official discussed the historic relations between the two countries and expressed satisfaction at accomplishments of the Joint Guidance Committee.

The Kuwaiti British commission was set up in 2012 with aim of cementing the bilateral relations.

Moreover, the two sides discussed developments on the regional and international arenas.
