Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met his Finland counterpart Pekka Haavisto on the fringes of the 2022 Manama Dialogue on Friday.

The Finnish minister congratulated Sheikh Salem on his recently-acquired role, expressing his sincere wishes for the Kuwaiti minister’s success in assuming his duties, and for the close bilateral relations to witness progress and prosperity.

The ministers discussed the latest developments on the regional and international spectrums and joint coordination on these matters.

They also reviewed the topics on the Manama Dialogue agenda, and discussed a number of issues of common concern.
