Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah met Monday Vladimir Voronkov, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, on the sidelines of the 77th session of UN General Assembly in New York.
The minister discussed with the UN official removing names of Kuwaitis from the UN Security Council terror lists.
In this regard, Sheikh Dr. Ahmad briefed the UN official about the latest Kuwaiti endeavors with the friendly countries and the UN Security Council to achieve this goal.
He reiterated Kuwait’s support to the removal of nationals from the UNSC lists.
