Kuwait Foreign Minister meets Yemeni Prime Minister

– On the sideline of UN-led donor conference in Geneva to help the humanitarian situation in Yemen, Kuwait Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met Monday with Yemeni Prime Minister Muieen Abdulmalik.

During the meeting, Sheikh Salem conveyed greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

Sheikh Salem expressed keenness of the political leadership to strengthen the historical relations between the two countries.

The meeting also reviewed the deep-rooted historical ties between the two countries and discussed the overall developments in the Republic of Yemen and developments on the regional and international arenas.

For his part, Sheikh Salem reaffirmed during the meeting commitment by Kuwait to stand for Yemen’s unity and stability, restoring security and safety, and its support for all efforts aimed at reaching a solution that leads to lasting peace in Yemen.

For his part, the Yemeni Prime Minister extended greetings to the Kuwaiti leadership, government and people, and reviewed the latest developments in Yemen, expressing deep appreciation for the role taken by Kuwait and its contributions towards supporting its brothers in Yemen.
