– Kuwait’s Health Ministry on Thursday said that 178 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 414,591.

The recoveries rose by 38 to 411,216, while death toll from the pandemic rose by one to 2,467, the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.

There are five ICUs cases, while 908 others are being treated, in addition to 18 patients at COVID-19 wards, he noted.

Medical swabs conducted over the same period hit 19,785, raising the total to nearly 5.8 million, Al-Sanad made clear.
