Kuwait’s confirmed daily coronavirus cases rose by 22 to 412,641 while no deaths were reported as the total is unchanged at 2,461, the health ministry said on Friday.
Another 36 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 409,792, according to ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in a statement.
The number of people hospitalised with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 19, five of whom have been admitted to intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 388 are receiving regular treatment.
Some 17,084 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 4,788,857, mentioned the official.
