Kuwait’s confirmed daily coronavirus cases rose by 30 to 412,708 while one further death edged the total up to 2,462, the health ministry said on Monday.

Another 35 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 409,892, according to ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in a statement.

The number of people hospitalised with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 16, six of whom have been admitted to intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 354 are receiving regular treatment.

Some 20,354 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 4,845,605, mentioned the official.
