– Kuwait’s daily coronavirus cases rose by 31 to 411,935 with no new deaths reported as the total remains unchanged at 2,452, the health ministry said on Wednesday.

Another 59 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 408,838, according to ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in a statement.

The number of people hospitalised with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 33, with 12 of them at intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 645 are receiving regular treatment.

Some 17,528 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 4,389,988, mentioned the official.

He went on to urge nationals and expatriates alike that abiding by health precautions, mainly, following social distancing rules, is the only way to halt the spread of the virus.
