Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Saturday said that 22 people were infected with the novel coronavirus in 24 hours, taking the total to 412,982 and that the death toll stood at 2,462 since there were no deaths over the past 24 hours.
As many as 30 recoveries were registered in the same period, raising the total number to 410,238, the Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.
The number of patients receiving treatment at ICUs is four, while there are 282 and 16 others at hospitals and the covid-19 wards respectively, he noted.
Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 14,665 increasing the total tests to 5,041,796, he stated.
