The number of coronavirus infections went up to 412,653 with the addition of 12 cases in the last 24 hours, while deaths stood still at 2,461, the Ministry of Health said Saturday.

Speaking to KUNA, the ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad indicated that recoveries reached 409,826 with 34 new cases.

Those receiving treatment at COVID wards were at 14, revealed Al-Sanad, noting that 366 people were receiving treatment for the viral infection. There are six cases in ICU.

Swabs amounted to 15,337, putting the total at 4,804,194, he added.
