Kuwait National Guard launches crisis response system

– Kuwait National Guard launched the center for operations, security system and crisis management on Wednesday.
The center connects with other state bodies including ministries to ensure quick response to crises, Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti National Guard Lieutenant General Hashim Al-Rifai said in a press statement.
Al-Rifai conveyed to the audience the greetings of the ceremony’s patronizer and chief of the National Guard, His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah.
On his part, assistant for training and operations, Major General Falah Shujae affirmed the importance of the center in providing advanced surveillance systems to sites protected by the National Guard.
The crises that the National Guard took part controling with other state bodies such as the coronavirus, the aftermath of heavy rain and putting out major blaze showed the need for a unified center for emergency response, he noted.
The launching ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior and other state bodies.
