— National Assembly speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim sent cables to families of 19 martyrs, in which he expressed sincere condolences and recalled the heroic actions of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to their homeland.
The 19 martyrs are Bader Al-Buraisi, Saeed Al-Rashidi, Saud Al-Dehani, Mukhled Al-Dehani, Waleed Al-Buraisi, Naif Al-Mutairi, Fawaz Al-Mutairi, Musa Al-Enezi, Naif Al-Rasheedi, Khaled Al-Khaldi, Saad Al-Ajmi, Bader Al-Mutairi, Fares Al-Mutairi, Nayef Huwaider, Salah Al-Enezi, Mohammad Al-Huwalah, Mohammad Al-Kharaz, Fares Al-Enezi and Hussain Al-Shammari.
The state of Kuwait held today a broad funeral with military protocols for the 19 martyrs who lost their lives during the Iraqi invasion 1990, after receiving their remains from Iraq and identifying them through DNA examinations.
