At the behest of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the direction of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti cabinet pledged USD 30 million in aid of the quake-struck people in Turkiye and Syria.
The funding includes USD 15 million for the disaster relief in Syria and an equal sum for Turkiye, the cabinet said in a press release on Thursday.
