His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Monday received a telephone call from his Iraqi counterpart Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, congratulating him on Eid Al-Fitr.

In the phone conversation, the Iraqi premier wished many happy returns of this dear occasion for the two countries and their peoples, along with both Arab and Muslim nations.

Both sides discussed means of promoting the deep-rooted relations between the two countries, and broadening cooperation in different fields so as to serve the two countries and their peoples’ interests.

In addition, they exchanged views on international and regional issues, and stressed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation on topics of common concern.
