Kuwait PM to graduates: All matters could be handled according to political discourse

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Thursday urged a group of Kuwait University (KU) graduates “not to worry” over “stiffness” in the relationship between the Government and the National Assembly.

Addressing the current political atmosphere in the country, His Highness the Premier said to the young crowd that “all matters could be handled according to political discourse practices.” This came during an open dialogue with KU 2020-21 honor students at Sabah Al-Salem University City earlier today, coinciding with International Youth Day; August 12 of each year.

“We had a major challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic, with by our children missing out on their (in person) education,” His Highness the Prime Minister noted. “Now is the time for you to know what you will face behind university walls,” His Highness addressed the audience.

“There are mega government projects like Silk City, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port, Entertainment City, as well as investment opportunities in man-made islands of Sheikh Jaber Causeway, in addition to the biofuel and new airport projects. All will provide job opportunities to our graduates.” His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled then conveyed greetings, congratulations, and wishes of further success and progress from His Highness the Amir Shiekh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the graduates
