– His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Monday a phone call from United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

During the call, the two sides touched on the latest regional and global developments as well as boosting cooperation between Kuwait and the UN.

His Highness praised the pivotal role that the United Nations plays in order to lay the foundations of international peace and security, stressing that Kuwait will continue its humanitarian role and support international efforts aimed at resolving conflicts and achieving security and stability regionally and globally.
