Kuwait’s Ministry of Health said Sunday that 39 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, taking the country’s caseload to 413,711.
The recoveries rose by 34 to 410,898 and the death toll from the pandemic remained unchanged at 2,466, the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.
The number of active cases are 347 including 19 patients who are hospitalized at Covid-19 wards and three at the intensive care units.
Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 21,685 increasing the total to 5,571,126, the spokesman added
