Kuwait reports 170 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

– Kuwait’s Health Ministry on Friday said that 170 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 414,761.

The recoveries rose by 40 to 411,256, while death toll from the pandemic remained unchanged at 2,467, the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.

There are six ICU cases and 1,038 others are being treated at home, in addition to 16 patients at COVID-19 wards, he noted.

Medical swabs conducted over the same period hit 21,326, raising the total to 5,819,960, Al-Sanad made clear.
