Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Friday announced 24 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 412,960, saying that the death toll stood at 2,462.

As many as 23 recoveries were registered in the same period, raising the total number to 410,208, the Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.

The number of those receiving treatment at ICUs is four, while there are 290 patients at hospitals’ wards and 17 others at the covid-19 sections, he noted.

Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 17,342, increasing the total tests to 5,027,131, he stated
