Kuwait reports 81 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

Kuwait’s Health Ministry on Friday said that 81 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total cases to 413,972.

The recoveries rose by 30 to 411,030, while death toll from the pandemic remained unchanged at 2,466, the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.

There are three ICUs cases, while 476 others are being treated, in addition to 12 patients at COVID-19 wards, he noted.

Medical swabs conducted over the same period hit 23,137, raising the total to 5,676,353, Al-Sanad made clear.
