– Kuwait witnesses extremely hot weather with humidity exceeding 90 percent specially in the coastal areas on Saturday, a senior meteorologist said.

The high humidity and heatwave, resulting from southeastern wind, are expected last until Monday when wind direction shifts to northwest, Dhrar Al-Ali, director of the observatory stations at the Meteorological Dept., told KUNA.

He expected the temperature to rise above 50 Celsius degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday.
