– Kuwaiti Minister of Oil and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Mohammad Al-Faris affirmed that Kuwait supports the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and non-OPEC producing countries (OPEC +) coordination and cooperation to face the challenges facing the oil markets.

This came in a press statement by the Ministry of Oil on Minister Al-Faris’s participation in the 31st meeting of the Joint Ministerial Committee for Production Monitoring (JMMC), the 18th ministerial meeting and the 181st ministerial meeting of (OPEC) to be held Wednesday and Thursday.

The minister stressed Kuwait’s full commitment to play its role within (OPEC +) by devoting efforts towards the stability of oil markets and the recovery of the global economy.

He said that the meeting will focus on continuing the current (OPEC) efforts to achieve market balance, indicating that any decision that the organization and its allies will adopt will be in the interest of producers and consumers
