— Kuwait’s Trade and Industry Minister Mazen Al-Nahedh underlined on Tuesday state efforts aiming to ensure an adequate supply of key staples, in light of mounting global concerns over food security.
These efforts also include putting in place a business environment that is conducive for foreign investment, Al-Nahedh, who doubles as state minister for communications and information technology, said as he held talks on the matter with a visiting delegation from the United Arab Emirates.
The talks mainly revolved around economic and trade issues, in addition to challenges facing both sides, according to a Kuwaiti trade and industry ministry statement.
