— Kuwait’s health ministry and the World Health Organization’s (WHO) regional office co-organized on Monday a workshop focusing on the enhancement of leadership skills, in an endeavor that brings together health officials from across the wider Gulf Arab region. The workshop has recruited prominent health officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council to share their leadership knowhow with participants, WHO’s Kuwait-based representative Assad Hafeez said in a statement.

Leadership skills, particularly in the field of healthcare, are crucial to bring about “positive change,” according to the health ministry’s international health relations chief Dr. Rehab Al-Watyan
