Kuwait witnessed Thursday afternoon some clouds that led to light scattered rains in some parts, Meteorological Department of Directorate General of Civil Aviation said.
Speaking to KUNA, Dherar Al-Ali, a meteorologist, said that rain in August is rare, but it can happen amid possible weather factors.
He added that the country saw similar conditions last year, saying it is likely the rainfall may persist until tomorrow.
