Kuwait youth authority launches training on digital programs

The Public Authority for Youth has launched a new edition of the training course, “the professional initiator,” in the sector of technology and digital programs in cooperation with the Canadian Algonquin College.

Dr. Mishaal Al-Shahin, the authority Director General, who attended the launch ceremony said in a statement that training in technology and digital programs constitute one of the programs executed by Kuwait technological complex for start-ups, designed to guide the youth to be involved in industrial and digital technologies and sharpen their skills in starts-ups through integrative workshops.

The program involving 40 young male and female trainees will intensively proceed for nine weeks, Al-Shahin said, adding that the aviation company Boeing would select the top ten participants to offer them financial aid.

The Canadian Ambassador to Kuwait Aliya Mawani was also present at the ceremony Interested would-be participants can register via the authority website: www.youth.gov.kw.
