Kuwaiti diplomat submits credentials as delegate to OIC

— The Consul General of Kuwait in Saudi Arabia Mohammad Al-Mutairi on Wednesday submitted his credentials as permanent representative of Kuwait to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to OIC Secretary General Hussein Brahim Taha.

During the meeting, Al-Mutairi conveyed to the OIC chief the greetings of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah.

Al-Mutairi underscored how crucial it is to enhance cooperation between Kuwait and OIC, commending the vital role played by OIC in uniting the member states to face all current challenges and achieve the aspirations of the Islamic nation.

He extolled the efforts of Taha in this regard, according to a statement from Kuwait consulate.

Meanwhile, Taha acclaimed the leading role of Kuwait in supporting OIC’s issues and its contribution to development projects in member states, along with providing humanitarian aid to them, wishing Al-Mutairi success in his work.

First Secretary Hamidi Al-Mutairi and Second Secretary Mohammad Alabduljalil from the Consulate General of Kuwait in Jeddah attended the meeting.
