Kuwaiti health minister lauds GCC Health Council personnel at Expo

The visiting Kuwaiti Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Al-Se’eed on Thursday lauded personnel of the GCC Health Council partaking in Dubai Expo 2020, namely for their manifestation of integrated medical services.

Dr. Al-Se’eed said in remarks to KUNA while visiting, along with Kuwaiti Information Minister Dr. Hamad Roueddine, the eventful exhibition, that he examined visual presentation of GCC achievements and broad lines of strategies for attaining merger among the council’s member states.

The minister added that he met, during his visit to the GCC section, Director General of the GCC Health Council Suleiman Al-Dekheel, discussing various medical issues that require public enlightenment.

He expressed gratitude to the staff and workers at the GCC pavilion which shed light on the council accomplishments and close bonds among the member states.

Close medical cooperation is among objectives of the GCC, the Gulf Cooperation Council, founded in the early 80s of the past century.

The GCC that groups Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, aims to establish closer cooperation and strategically economic integration among these regional states.
