The Health Ministry reported one COVID-19 death, 1,053 infections and 2,499 recoveries on Tuesday.
Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said the abovementioned figures took the caseload to 615,397; 597,655 recoveries and 2,531 deaths.
He further indicated that there were 79 patients in ICU due to the bug; 15,211 receiving medical care and some 263 occupying beds in COVID-19 wards.
Swabs, in the last 24 hours hit 16,701, putting the total at 7.5 million, he noted.
